Footprint Feed now supports Latitude check-ins

With Google Latitude now supporting check-ins on the Latitude iPhone and Android apps we thought it would be a nice feature to support on Footprint Feed.  You can now post your Latitude check-ins to all your favourite feeds including Facebook and Twitter.  You need to make sure you've enabled Buzz on Footprint Feed first.

As always we'd love your feedback so let us know what you think.

  1. Doesn't seem to be working. The footprint feed site shows it sent to facebook and twitter and neither show anything.

  3. Have to concur w/Marcus - all Latitude check-in posting functions seem to be down, check-in posts do not go to Twitter or Facebook or the RSS feed. They go to Buzz of course but this is not a function of Footprint Feeds rather all check-ins go to Buzz anyway.

  4. The Latitude check-in does not appear in Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Have been trying it for a couple of days. I have emailed "footprint feed" twice, but no response.

  8. Latitude check-ins are not posting to Facebook, and the "include all check-ins" box by Buzz on my Footprint Feed page is grayed out. Is Footprint Feed not communicating with Buzz?

  9. If I checkin via google plus it is now working with Latitude. However Footprint feed shows it as null null with the correct geolocation.
Also I am suggesting that you guys add Facebook places for the checkin.
Like yelp and footfeed (http://footfeed.com/) and foursquare do.

  10. With Google Buzz and several other services shutting down next year, do you plan to continue service and integrate some other way?

  11. So Buzz seems to have disappeared and, with it, latitude check ins now do not get passed to my feed. What's happening?

  12. Was working fine for a few months. Now it hasn't updated on twitter for a couple of days - http://twitter.com/cab4now.

Reset twitter and latitude accounts in settings. Shame. I really liked it. Can't find how to raise a support ticket. Guessing the resources aren't available. Sadly another great idea bites the dust.
